Why do we use the Intracell Stick Self Massage?

Give someone a fish and they eat for a day. Teach them to fish and they eat for a lifetime.

Fortunately doing self massage is easier than catching a fish. And less smelly, too.

Massage therapy has many benefits for the lower body. There are many techniques and devices that are effective. These include our own hands, massage guns, tennis balls, foam rollers, etc. However, there are few tools that are easier or as versatile as self massage with an intracell stick.

Intracell stick only

There are other massage sticks that claim to deliver the same benefit as the intracell stick. After trying more than a dozen competitors, we can safely say that the intracell stick outperforms them all.

The exercises on this page are part of a prescribed and individualized exercise program developed for patients at Quartell Chiropractic. If you have not been prescribed an exercise from this resource page, please consult with one of our physicians prior to attempting any exercise.

Why is self massage part of the care at Quartell Chiropractic?

1. Isn’t a professional massage better?

Yes. An expert will always do a better job. But a professional massage has a two drawbacks. There is an added expense of time and money to see a professional. Self massage solves these challenges.

2. How do I know where to work

We will tell you the most critical areas to address. They can be found where ever you feel pain while using the stick.

3. How long and how often should I do the massage?

We suggest 20 painful passes over the muscle and repeat up to 4 times per day. Make sure to stop if it starts to feel bruised.
